Navigating the Aspen CRM Web App
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Navigation
The Aspen CRM web app uses a horizontal navigation bar at the top to switch between the main sections of your CRM.
Main Sections
Section | Description |
|---|---|
Contacts | The home page for most users. View and manage the people you sell to. |
Opportunities | Track open and closed deals. |
Accounts | View and manage the companies your contacts work at. |
Leads | Work open leads. |
Cases | Manage support cases. |
Custom Objects | Any additional object types your admin has configured for your business. |
Search
Use Search to quickly find anything across your CRM. Results are grouped by object type and sorted intelligently:
Contacts: Your own contacts appear first (sorted by recency and relationship strength), followed by all other contacts alphabetically.
Opportunities: Your opportunities appear first (sorted by ownership and most recently used), followed by others' opportunities.
Accounts: Your accounts appear first, followed by all other accounts alphabetically.
Cases: Your cases appear first, followed by all other accounts alphabetically.
Leads: Your leads appear first, followed by all other leads alphabetically.
Custom Objects: Your custom object records appear first
Search results can display primary fields on the left, and secondary fields (like relationship strength or opportunity amount) on the right.
List Views
From any list (Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, Cases), you can:
Add or remove columns
Apply multi-column filters and sorting
Save custom views for future use
Tips for Sales Reps
The Contacts list is your landing page; start here each day.
Use Super Search to pull up any record quickly without clicking through menus.
You can interact with Aspen CRM through Claude Cowork if you prefer natural language over clicking. For example: "Show me all open opportunities over $50K."
