What Is Aspen Miner?

Aspen Miner is Aspen CRM's automated contact management and data enrichment engine. When connected to your Google Workspace, Aspen Miner automatically:

  • Syncs contacts from Gmail and Google Calendar into Aspen CRM

  • Ingests email and calendar activity so your activity logs stay up to date without manual data entry

  • Analyzes unstructured conversation data so you can ask Claude questions like "When did we last discuss next steps with Acme Corp?"

Prerequisites

To set up the Google Workspace integration, you need:

  • A Google super admin for your organization to complete the setup in Google Cloud Console and Google Admin Console

  • A Google service account with a downloaded JSON private key

Setup Steps

  1. In your Admin Console, go to Integration → Google Workspace.

  2. Provide Aspen with the Google service account private key (JSON format).

    • Your Google super admin will need to set up the service account in Google Cloud Console and Google Admin Console first. Detailed steps are available in the Google Workspace Setup Guide.

  3. Once connected, Miner automatically configures the sync jobs. No further action is required.
